Here Are Some of the Questions Our Patients Have About Coolsculpting Elite
CoolSculpting Elite is an FDA-cleared fat-reduction treatment for men and women who want to get rid of stubborn pockets of fat in the abdomen, flanks, thighs, jawline, under the chin, and upper arms. It can also eliminate saddlebags, fat below the buttocks, bra fat, and back fat. At Carolina Plastic Surgery of Fayetteville, we will take the time to design a treatment plan for each patient that works to address their needs. CoolSculpt Elite is NOT a weight loss treatment.
The cost depends on the areas being treated. Each Coolsculpting Elite session eliminates 20-25% of the fat placed within the applicator. Dr. Saira Saini will design a treatment plan that will work to address the areas of concern. Each treatment plan is individualized and the cost is anywhere between $2000 and $4000 for a personalized plan that meets your goals and your budget. We can discuss this in detail at your consultation and give you a written estimate of the cost of your treatment. We also offer CareCredit and Alpheon Credit, which offer flexible payment plans that allow you to get the results you want without having to pay the full cost upfront.
The applicator is placed on the treatment area and there is a slight sound as the fat is sucked into the applicator. Most patients tolerate this without any problems. Other patients have described this sensation as pulling, tugging, mild pinching, cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside within 3-5 minutes as the area becomes numb. Most patients nap, read, or watch a show on TV or their personal device. Following the procedure, the typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after treatments at the jawline or under the chin. Rare side effects may happen in 1 to 10 out of 10,000 CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite treatments (between 0.01% to 0.1%) One such rare side effect is a visible enlargement in the treated areas, which may develop 2 to 5 months after treatment and requires surgical intervention for correction.

It takes two! The number of sessions you’ll need is dependent on the amount of fat you would like to see removed. CoolSculpting Elite has been scientifically proven to achieve 20-25% fat reduction per treatment. Most people need two treatments.
